Dane was so helpful and patient. He explained everything thoroughly and walked with me step by step through it all. And from just over the phone! I didn’t have to leave my home to sign anything or fax things. Electronic everything and the closing folks came to me.

Katherine was great to work with. I had one key question about the refinance that she answered as best she could, but I was left to feel like she wasn't getting very much support behind her in addressing my concerns and I went to close despite my questions never really being answered. Please look at any lower ratings in this survey as being reflective of PennyMac in general and not Katherine Baker specifically- she was excellent within those things she was empowered to do.

I didn't want to have an escrow account, and he did not tell me that I had the option to opt out of having an escrow account when I refinanced. I have an engineering degree, but yet, the conversations on the numbers were very confusing to me the way they were presented. I feel that was done on purpose, to skew the information.
