Already had a loan with PennyMac and decided to see how I would qualify for a refinance to get a lower rate. They kept me informed the whole step of the way and answered any question I may have had. But I had already done a few refis (own three homes) and had experience. But that's not to note that if I was new, the experience would have been any different.

I’m pleased that I chose to refinance through PennyMac. I figured it would be an easier to go back with them since they were my current lender. The process was so fast and easy, I didn’t feel harassed to make a quick decision. My calls was returned promptly and all questions answered when asked. I made the right choice. I cannot thank the team enough.

Overall a simple process for an IRRL Refinance. Cali was helpful but my actual loan advisor I had a few issues with but when I brought it to his attention he fixed them. Cali was friendly and helpful.
