Better communication within your team process. We were told our first mortgage payment was scheduled for March 1st. We get to closing and find out it is February 1st. Last minute requests caused significant, unneeded stress.
This is the second time that I’ve wanted to do a cash out refinance and the second time that I have been told that I didn’t qualify. but, I do qualify to refinance at a lower rate and have to start over again. Not going to do this again with PENNYMAC unless it is a cash out refinance. If PENNYMAC cannot do it, I will find a company that can.
PennyMac has been a great company to work with.
New lower interest, lower monthly payment, and received money back
I have had no issues or concerns regarding Leah. She kept in contact with status of application and required document activity. However, when I got the original closing estimate it showed I would get ~$400 back at closing and all of the other numbers were accurate to the best of my knowledge. The next iteration of the closing document had a full year of property taxes added as a prepaid amt. plus 4 months of property taxes for escrow.
