I am still waiting for my claim to be finalized and it now has been over a month!! They do NOT repsond, nor call you about it. I called several times with NO results from them. Very unhappy and I have put in a complaint against them to the BBB.
I filed a claim for damage caused by a roof leak. People's trust said they would only cover the interior drywall damage which did not meet my deductable, and denied my claim. 6 months later I'm being dropped unless I replace my entire roof and remove a deck that doesn't exist. Bye Felicia!
I thought I had a good Insurance company until now. I went into the hospital for heart surgery and was late on my payment on 8/6 /2021. I called when got the notice of cancellation on 8/8 /2021 and explained my situation and wanted to pay and get reinstated . They said they would not write a policy because of tropical storm Fred once that passed they would reinstate me. Today i got a call that they would not reinstate me. Do not have any trust in this company and advise not to do business with them.
Decided not to renew my policy. Many years being a customer and paying in full every year. Never had a claim. My home is fully remodeled.

I just noticed that i have their stickers on my electrical box and water heater. 1st i work for a major plumbing company in central Florida. 2nd this company broke the law by coming into my garage and placing these stickers. Im very upset about this. Id never call these people. I can fix anything in my home. The fact they stoop so low is beyond me. Next time a Rottweiler will be waiting.
People's Trust Insurance does not have a payment plan to help their customer during this pandemics time to not lose their insurance coverage.
Absolutely the worst insurance company out there. First of all they asked me got my wind mitigation report and I went to Staples and printed nice color copies and sent them to deerfield beach office and I also emailed the sales center. then I schedule a home inspection, and the guy cancels a day before this is supposed to happen then I schedule another inspection and my assistant called out of work so I called to reschedule. Warning!!! Don't use. I was quoted a homeowners policy from John Chaupis from People's Trust insurance. I liked it so I switched. Two months later, I got an email saying my premium has more than doubled. Apparently John entered something wrong in their system which gave me credit i was not suppose to have. Obviously I was furious. I was mislead, deceived and lied to. BAIT & SWITCH!!!!!!

With the desire to find a better price in my house insurance I made the worst of my mistakes. First they cancel the policy for not being able to contact me for the inspection since my phone number had it wrong. The contacts and I let them know that this was not my number and they make me a new appointment. After the appointment, my policy continues with the cancellation date and without prior notice I ran out of policy.
