This company just wrote us a policy which I canceled our other provider. They send out an inspector after the fact and then send us a cancellation for 15 days causing me to not save money, but renew my last policy and pay them for 15 days. Reason for cancelation corroded copper line under sink. What a joke. Nice scheme to make a little money for a few days. STAY FAR AWAY. Simple fix inspect houses prior to writing policies if you have ridiculous standards.
A terrible experience with these people. After a car accident you hope that your insurance will help you cope with this situation in the best way, because they did the opposite. First they told me that they did not cover medical expenses when my policy contemplated it, then they made me sign the letter of no responsibility for medical expenses to repair my car (when they should only have told me to do it directly with the other person's insurance which was the culprit) and finally they told me that I was making deliveries to... read more
This is the worst insurance company, I know at least 6 people including my self who this company as done so bad, after 3 years of an hurricane this company still hasnt pay for my roof, forcing me to use there contractor and now want to put a high deductible on me. Please please dont use this company, there are other companies that will do much better for there client. It is too bad there is nothing less than 1 star otherwise it would be the rating for this Company. Nothing trustworthy about them. Quick to collect and very slow to resolve major damage left by A CATEGORY FIVE HURRICANE.... Two of their adjusters came out to my property (Took pictures and notes...) , eight months later and still not settled. One star as no stars is not an option. Save your money and your time. Stay away from this company. I went through their agent HoneyQuote. After the sale could not get a phone or email reply from the agent. Peoples canceled my policy because they said I had an undisclosed claim. I have never had a claim. And they said they tried to contact me for a roof inspection, after I sent in my wind mitigation inspection. They never called or emailed. They only sent a letter saying canceled.
