Get people that know what they are doing!!
I am frustrated at the lack of knowledge of chosing to feed animals a certain way. I believe that some more information and truth about feeding animals raw diets would be helpful. I understand that we are taught to believe Kibble is the only acceptable food but I do known that after extensive research and communication with many that are in favor with diet it is actually the only acceptable diet . We called the animal hospital at 5:50. We told them that our dog had a large gash in her throat and we needed to bring her in. They informed me that they were closing and that I needed to drive to Mokena and that I could walk right in. So instead of staying and helping us, they sent me almost an hour away. When I got to Mokena, I find that they don’t open until 7! So the fine people at Peotone animal hospital are callous and clueless.

Sadly, if you have an emergency and don’t have an appointment they won’t see you! Even if all other animal hospitals close by are closed and the emergency clinic doesn’t open for an hour and a half. They put me on hold for over 5 minutes and refused to see my cat with a pre-existing heart condition that hurt her leg because they didn’t have any opening!
