I highly recommend Perry Movers. We used them for our move to Canada and I could not imagine a more stress free experience. We interviewed 3 different moving companies and after meeting Rich Perry, his calm, professional and knowledgable demeanor won us over and we couldn't have been happier with our decision. Prior to move day, he was always promptly available to answer our questions. Then, they packed up our 3 story home in 7 hours and loaded it into the truck the next day in 4.5 hours. Moved our household from Maryland to North Carolina. Our interactions with the estimator, the moving crew, & everyone we spoke with at the office were great! The crew arrived on time & were very courteous. The only issue was that one entire small storage room of stuff got left behind; but, really, the responsibility for that is shared by the family member who was at the house & missed the issue. Excellent. Alvin came by our home to give us the estimate. It was more expensive than another estimate we had receieved, but we had a good sense he knew his game well and he advised us that he was being conservative. He also told us that if we wanted to save some money, do A, B, and C. So we did a few of those things in advance to knock off some of the cost. From the estimator who came to the personnel who moved us, we were very impressed. The movers, Alfred, Tony and Anthony were great. Everything was packed with care. They were very efficient and it was obvious that they were experienced and had no problems determining which items needed special care. When arriving at the new home, they placed everything in just the right place. They made sure the carpets and floors were protected. They were courteous and we were very pleased. Perry was great. In particular their packing team was swift, thorough, and friendly. I was moving with a small baby, and I couldn't have done it without them. Nothing was broken, and they were communicative and helpful. Packing and moving.
