If I could give all the stars in the sky I would. I went on vacation and left my puppy for the first time in the hands of others. To say my puppy is a handful is an understatement. He was never around other dogs and he was what I thought was non dog friendly. He was also super nervous with other people. The people here were amazing. I would get a report card with pictures of my puppy playing with other dogs and having the best time ever! My husband and I had a 30 day trip out west. We left our cat Barney with them. We love this cat so much. Seriously could not have been happier with how well the staff cared for him. When I came to pick him up I saw how they interacted with him. He loved them felt comfortable with them picking him up and getting him in his travel crate. He doesn't like strangers so when I saw him rubbing on them and them scratching and cuddling him. My heart was so happy that he had been in animal loving hands. My dog was there from May 4-9, 2025. I took a tour of this place and it didn't seem all that clean (hair was everywhere) and the kennels were dark. I took a chance on boarding my dog anyway. I picked my dog up on May 9th and he was diagnosed with Kennel Cough the next day. I got a Vet bill for $230. I told my Vet that my dog was boarded there for 5 1/2 nights. Yes my dog has ALL his vaccines and is current on ALL of them especially Bordetella. My dog was groomed on May 9th and the Groomer was not all that great. I even left ... read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. The staff and/or policies at Pet Paradise in Odessa, Florida are incompetent and unwise. I took our newly rescued shelter dog there for a facility tour earlier in the week, and he was feisty but not aggressive, which they saw. I let them know that I had no idea how my dog would react in a group dog setting but that he had never shown any aggression toward another dog on his walks, just overexcitement. We have boarded our dog, Copper, with Pet Paradise for years, since we first adopted him. He is an over-all young, healthy 4-year-old dog. His most recent stay was for a week in March while we were out of the country for our anniversary. When we brought Copper home at the end of his boarding stay, we checked him over and found an infected wound under his arm. It was large, red, with pus coming out of it. Nice place. Where able to see dogs on play cam during their stay HOWEVER both dogs ended up with Kennel Cough even though they had the Bordello vaccine. Hope the shut down to decontaminate. I let them know.

There's literally a former employee in the reviews explaining exactly why this place is awful - by the way. If you want your fur baby to come home with no more skin left on his/her paws causing him/her to be unable to move (poop, play, eat) because this place doesn't understand that the Florida sun hitting fake grass and cement ground can hurt dogs, this is the place for you. Horrible experience. Charged me extra because my dog was "difficult". My dog has been to other groomers before and they have always said the opposite. Also, they kept calling him a her. Obviously didn't even care enough to know the gender of my dog.
