I am Disabled with a Traumatic Brain Injury and PTSD, and the times I called Peter because I either forgot what I needed to do or didn’t understand a PennyMac email…Peter was ALWAYS there: answering the phone, patiently explaining the information in ways I can understand. I always felt comfortable reaching out because he never talked to me in any condescending manner nor displayed frustration with my many calls. Peter is #1 in my book. 👍🏼

Train your or hire knowledgeable loan officers and managers. I feel term were change in advantage of Penny Mac. I was not shown the income to ratio numbers only given %..

Was asking for the same document over and over change the loan amount without telling me give me a closing date but didn’t go over closing documents my wife call back asking questions that’s how I new the loan amount was changed. Told him I didn’t ask for that amount and then they ask for the same documents again and still refuse to change the loan amount back and want me to take what they change it to.But finally it was over after new loan officer went over documents and had to send over again the same documents before they... read more

Peter did his job well. My concern is that the Pennymac back-office process needs work. If I hadn't called weekly to push the process along or connect dots on the behalf of Pennymac my load would have continued to drag on. I started the process in November and closed in late March. I understand there was a subordinate loan, but penny mac seemed content to send an email and wait indefinitely.
