The technicians that work for Petro are excellent. They are efficient and mindful, always. However, Petro oil prices are high in comparison to other local suppliers. I would like to see their company price match other local companies and, possibly, offer discounts for return/long-term customers.

I recently bought a house in which the previous owner had used Petro Oil as their supplier. Petro had "measured" the remaining oil left in the tank a week prior to having an established closing date (so I paid for oil that wasn't even mine.) I had inquired with a Petro representative if they have a policy of needing a closing date prior to reading remaining oil in which they stated they do ask for a closing date, but they ultimately just stop by whenever it is convenient for the customer. Petro’s customer service deserves six stars. I recently called to open an account for oil delivery services and spoke with Elaine. It was the very end of the day, and Elaine answered the phone as bright and cherry as if it was her first call of the day. She was so patient in providing clear details on their 3 oil delivery service plan options and the amazingly cost effective annual service contract that brought me much peace of mind! Have been a Petro customer since 2019 prior to this winter season I always had a service contract and a price lock for oil automatic delivery. I expected to pay more but to have the peace of mind of 24 hour service we went and stayed with Petro . This year we decided to just keep the service contract and go with the variable rate, knowing that oil prices barring any catastrophe in the world was going to stay low And had to have either a lock in rate or variable to have the service so we chose variable. Petro Home Services and Stan went above and beyond the call of duty as always. He is extremely professional, knowledge, and always tests and makes sure everything is working perfectly before he leaves. He also explains what was done so that the home owner is educated and is able to follow best practices for maximum upkeep after he services the furnace. Thank you Stan the Man!
