Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Pork tenderloin entree was wonderful. However the oil in the green bean pan was way too hot, and the green beans had a nasty, burned oil taste. No offer was made to replace them with another veg. However, I love the new Cabernet Franc on your wine list!
We get there only about once or twice a year, but it's always a pleasure. Great food, great service and a lively atmosphere.
We are very happy with the service we received Saturday December 21st. And the food was delicious. If we could make a suggestion, please make the Brunch menu available Saturday and Sunday.
Our second visit to this wonderful neighborhood restaurant and it absolutely met all our expectations; Excellent dining choices combined with knowledgeable customer service made for another evening to remember.
We came in late and the waitress and chef were still willing to accommodate my special diet happily. The food and service is always consistently great and I love the quiet, neighborhood feel of the space. One of my all time favorites for any occasion. Oh, the wine is great too!

PCG is always terrific. I live in the area and have been going there for years. I have never had a bad meal there. Will keep going back again and again.
