Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Go, go, go to their Sunday brunch!! Heritage pancakes with bourbon pecans and bacon, Chicken Enchiladas over eggs, and the Catch was Halibut over creamed corn. Perfectly sized and cooked. Husband's Turkey Club was "one of the best he's had". Took half home. Loved the variety to order from on the Bunch menu! We'll definitely be back.
This is a terrific neighborhood place. The service is great, the food is good. It's a great place for a fun evening out.
Always great food. We have been coming to PCG for many years and have always had a great experience.
Service and atmosphere were excellent. Everyone liked their food with the exception of one of our party. He wasn’t thrilled with the pasta. We has 6 people, 5 out of 6 is a good score! We ordered a steak, short ribs, pork loin, hamburger ands vegetable platter along with 2 appetizers… everything was very good, I look forward to going back.
DATE NIGHT - It couldn't have been better. Casual atmosphere, EXCELLENT service, the best Hamburger ever and the price was well in line with everything. You won't go wrong going to the PCG for a great meal and an excellent experience. TLG
Thanks to Chef Mark Tarbell for featuring this neighborhood gem on Check Please! After living in Scottsdale for the last 26 years this was our first visit. An excellent service experience + delicious food! Our order was appetizer bacon wrapped shrimp, skillet corn bread, entrees braised short ribs + Halibut the fish special last night. 10 stars on all accounts!
had the flank stake - big disc of hard white rice with it ? all three plates were mediocre for presentation - stake was ok but sides were poor quality

We had a great meal at Phoenix City Grill. The appetizer, and main courses were really good. We had a great server, Joe, and the prices are reasonable. It was nice to be in a place also that wasn't too loud, so we could visit easily. We will be back and recommend it to friends.
