Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Great menu, lots to choose from, the “super food” salad was outstanding, but everything else was great, too. No disappointments here, and based on their other reviews that seems about right. We’ll definitely be back.

As always we had a great time last night at the PCG. We started with martini's which were amazing and I love how they bring them to the table in a shaker! Nice!! We shared the delicious cornbread for a starter. My Boo & I ordered the Fish of the Day, which was amazing and we also split the grilled veggies plate. Boo also got the appetizer of green chili stew with 4 fresh homemade small tamales and chowed down on it. Food is always great. Green beans were to aldente for me. A little pricey but delicious. Server was very good. Always looking forward to try something different when I go there. Eggplant bites are my new favorite!
We have been going to Phoenix City Grille for over 30 years. In all that time, we have never had anything but excellent service and consistently delicious food. The bartenders and servers are friendly and seem to really enjoy their work. Many of them have been there for a long time. The owner never disappoints, he's always roaming around taking everything in. He really knows how to run a successful business. First time for our foursome. The ambiance was great and the food selection was excellent. We will be back.
