This friendly neighborhood hangout feels like it's been around for much longer than it has. Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. Pizzas and light bites perfectly complement a glass of wine, beer or cocktail from the bar.

Really good food and Great service. We will definitely be back and will recommend to all of our Phoenix friends.
First the good: Crispy Cauliflower (great flavor with fresh ginger and a great sauce, however cauliflower was over cooked); Baja Shrimp (good sauce, but inappropriate inclusion of a major quantity of zucchini); excellent creme brûlée (but leave off the old brown smooshed banana). While the Shrimp on the Shrimp and Grits were well prepared, but the grits were undercooked and gritty, and the overwhelming amount of zucchini was neither appropriate nor tasty and left behind on the plate. Not a regular PCG entree offering and it ... read more
Always a great place to go for dinner. Parking can be a little difficult. But worth walking a little bit.
2nd Restaurant Week experienced at Phoenix City Grill. First time was in May. Excellent both times.

My family went for the $44 special, two of us got the Shrimp & Grits and the other got off the menu. My son and I were disappointed with the entree, I also wasn't too thrilled with the salad, the Bananas Foster was yummy. All in all it was an OK dinner for us. PS I've dined at PCG for several years, since their beginning. Just wasn't up to PCG standards.
Went to this longtime fav for Restaurant Week and, as usual, it did not disappoint. We attended a wine tasting first at the restaurant followed by a dinner reservation. The menu has so many good options, but the chef still surprised with new options on the Restaurant Week menu. If you haven't been in a while or never, do yourself a favor and make this your next dinner spot!
We did the Prisoner wine tasting first in the private dining room and it was excellent. We had dinner immediately afterwards and the food and service was top notch. The bacon wrapped shrimp and the eggplant bites were delicious. Can’t wait to go back. One of my favorite restaurants in town.
Our visit was during Restaurant Week and we ordered off the special prix fixe menu. Everything was delicious but the crispy cauliflower appetizer was dynamite. I hope this dish can be on the regular menu, if it isn't already.
