Six months in and we still can't use our shower. It's not a large fix. Painters dumping paint in my front yard. Trash left in my front yard. Contractors picking through trash to leave things they can take home in my yard for several days. Tile work was done with a hand grinder and has chips and edges all along the sides that were cut. We recently had a mainline sewer back up. The water mediation team was great and went above and beyond. I cannot say the same for the restoration contact. When she contacted me I explained I need to wait until out for summer since no more days off. She then said would put the contract on hold. I explained that my adjustor had said I could just take carpet allowance and possibly do my own painting since my husband has Alzheimer's and change is not good. When I first called about our water leak you sent people out promptly. Tony went through the process of water mitigation in a timely fashion and was easy to work with. However after the initial water mitigation it took about 2-3 weeks for anyone to come back out and start repairing our floors. During this time we were stuck with our damaged refrigerator that had caused the leak and no flooring. We have a one year old so it was very inconvenient. To whom it may concern, Since you reached out to us for a survey we will air our complaints. I am sorry to say overall I would not recommend your company. We had a few incidents happen with the men that restored our floors. 1. Used our own ladder for use in job without permission. 2. Stain application was "sloppy". Stain spots on walls (freshly painted basement) and carpet. 3. Missing trim. If you value your home and do not want to spend thousands of dollars redoing work that has been done by Phoenix Renovation & Restoration, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They price gouge, and they work without permits. They did not pull a permit in the City of Wellsville, Kansas according to the City Inspector which is a violation of city ordinance. Something that I am learning about this fraudulent company is that they have a habit of not pulling building permits, especially outside Johnson County, Kansas. They prey upon ... read more
