I was really impressed by everything that I tried last night at Piattello. All three dishes that my table ordered were amazing. I had the rabbit tagliatelle and it was one of the best Italian dishes I've had maybe ever. My dad and brother both felt the same way about their food. Overall awesome place, and I'd highly recommend it.
Excellent food. Homemade pasta is cooked just like you would have it in Italy - the REAL al dente texture. Flavors are spot on and wine selection is good. Service is attentive and knowledgeable in both food and beverage. Finally a restaurant with a real chef in Fort Worth!
Such a great place to try new exciting dishes, and old favorites. Never had a bad meal here. Chef Eric is such a pleasure when he visits our table and atmosphere is always inviting.
It has literally been almost 2 years since I have written my first review, or tried this restaurant. Not sure how many times we have eaten here...maybe 100?? Probably more and NOT ONE TIME HAVE MY HUSBAND AND I BEEN DISAPPOINTED! That says a whole lot. The people in the restaurant have become friends to us. We love the atmosphere, staff and food. Piattello might be one of the best restaurants in Fort Worth right now. Certainly my latest go to for a great evening meal. This isn't the traditional Italian-American menu with selection of pastas and sauces, but diverse and delicious chef prepared dishes. I always opt for the Spaghetti Pomodoro and try one of their unique creations via appetizers. Despite being located in pseudo suburban strip center, restaurant has cozy upscale ambiance and a good crowd. Servers know the menu and eager to help.
Piattello has contemporary Italian atmosphere and the food is good. They have a smaller menu but they execute it very effectively. Their specials tend to be incredible and that is usually what I would suggest that you order. The owner and chef is often in the restaurant which means that the food will always be fresh and to his high standards.
My wife and I visited for dinner with some friends of ours. We were pleasantly surprised with our experience. For starter our group had the ricotta and sourdough. It was excellent, don't skip out on this if you go. My wife ordered the linguine and it was great. I got the ravioli which was on point. We loved it and will be back!
Had dinner last night. The evening was fantastic-the food was wonderful and Sarah,our delightful server, was knowledgable and attentive. The eggplant parmesan was delicious, perfectly cooked and the Sunday Gravy and Pasta tasted like it was an authentic Italian family dish. Sarah suggested a great wine. Can't wait to return!
Modern handmade Italian in a chef driven restaurant. The room is lovely, bright and welcoming. Service, especially Andrew, is excellent. Drinks are unique and the wine selection is good. The pasta is so wonderful. This has become our favorite Italian in FW.
