A gem in Fort Worth :) Everything I've tried so far has not disappointed. If you look at my past reviews, you can see a list of items I've tried from the menu! The menu changes slightly from time to time, so dont be surprised if you cant find something on the menu. After yesterday's visit, I've found my new favorite dish.. Bucatini Fra Diavolo: spanish octopus - calabrian chili - tomato - breadcrumbs - first off.. I LOVE bucatini, and unfortunately not a lot of italian restaurants serve it. The calabrian chili brings a ... read more
Just got some food to go from this place for the first time. This was probably the best Italian food I've ever had. At the recommendation of the other reviews, I got the sourdough toast and homemade ricotta appetizer as well as the shrimp linguine and tiramisu. All fantastic. Food was hot, packaged up nicely, service was quick and friendly, the atmosphere (at least when I went in to pick up my food) was great, and I saw they even have a coffee bar! I might have to come back next weekend with my boyfriend for some coffee and ... read more
Our first visit was from a recommendation. Piattello's did not disappoint. Our group had a variety of foods, wine and beer. Andrew was our server and was extremely knowledgeable and has a passion to serve. I'll be back. Thanks
Ambience:5 Food:3 Service:4 Value:5 Return:2 Saturday night, just finished with a meeting nearby. Have bookmarked "Piattello" as one of ten best new restaurants in the March, 2018 issue of Texas Monthly. Lucky to get a last minute reservation. Relaxing is their ambience. Pleasing is their open concept interior. Stylish is their bar. Bright is their kitchen. Cozy and comfy are their seatings. Attentive was the service. Yet, agitated our table got with the repeat indications from our table's waiter that our food is coming ... read more
I'm not sure why I've delayed reviewing as I love this place. Piattello's is committed to excellence. I'm hooked on their pastas and keep coming back for more. Their ragu is especially excellent: always complex and bursting with umami, regardless of what's in it that particular day. Their pasta is made fresh and always served al dente. In fact, they've delayed serving me before because they weren't satisfied with their preparation. Let me repeat that: they will not serve you food if it's not up to their [very high] standards... read more
Visited on a Friday night to meet friends. Love the atmosphere of this restaurant and if the weather is nice, I definitely recommend the patio! (Dogs welcomes :)) We started off dinner with a couple of appetizers which were all delicious. My absolute favorite was the Brussel Sprouts, they were full of flavor and they were also crispy, YUM. We also order the mussels which were fresh and was cooked in a delicious sauce with chickpeas. And if you love ricotta and bread, do yourself and favor and order that too! For entrees we... read more
Food was excellent and hot, full bar and wine list. We would definitely come back here again!
Great food and a great time at Piattello. Excellent service and food. Drinks were perfect. Crostini appetizer is a must. Any entree is not only going to be great but will surprise you.
Average overpriced Italian. Was looking for a nice place to enjoy dinner with my mom while we are in town. The server was very attentive, knowledgable and sweet so I gave more stars for that. We got a glass of wine and sangria. Also, had the garlic bread ( not recommended tasted like frozen bread from grocery store with hot pepper on it, we didn't eat it) the eggplant ( it was average good) and the eggplant ravioli with pesto sauce ( it was basic, lacked variety) I found the atmosphere a bit underwhelming, kind of felt like... read more
