Profit over progress dr. See pm to Dr Diwan: Super disappointed in how I was let go. I had my medical marijuana card scanned by dr Katz last year. You knew I occasionally had drinks. I had so many diagnosis of anxiety and when you took me off alprazolam cold turkey I had a seizure. I do not understand the cocaine thing. I’ve been going to Piedmont Family Practice since I was 5 and to see the level of care and professionalism go down hill is so sad. The only reason I’ve continued to go there is because of my doctor and how he cared about my health and willingness to make sure I was well taken care off. The last 3 encounters with the staff have been the WORST experience ever. I have been with Piedmont Family Practice since 2014 for my primary care and for my continued treatment for opioid dependence. My question for Piedmont Family Practice is, how do you in good conscience refuse to continue treating a patient that has been prescribed medication for opioid dependance for the past 13 years without justification or warning? Don’t both wasting your time here. You will never see a doctor, even though you are paying for one. You are given a nurse practitioner. And one that doesn’t meet your needs. I’d figured I’d give it a chance. Nope! Went and had X-rays and a MRI and here I sit, TWO weeks later with no contact from this practice. I’m left on my own to diagnose the results and figure out my next step. I’m done with this circus!
