I spoke to Pink Rose to set up an estimate to have curtains hung. A very simple 30 minute job. They said there was a $39 visit price which I agreed to. Asked for an idea of the cost and they said they have no idea. When the man arrived he quoted $371. Even the man giving the quote said it was too much. Can’t speak to anyone. They all say they don’t work for the company.
The employee who came to my house was nice and on time and provided me with a quote as I had requested, but $400 is very steep in my opinion for an 8” piece of wood that needs to be secured in the open space near a gutter in order to keep birds out of my house. I had to pay $39 to get this quote. I did some research and I have found a company that provides “free” estimates, has great ratings and reasonable rates.
I had a Pink Rose Handyman out to give me estimates today. I wanted individual quotes for multiple projects, and he said that would take some time, so I asked him to email the quotes to me when he was done. I was called shortly thereafter by a company rep, who told me that company policy was not to email quotes (regardless of what I wanted), and that I had to be there in person to be given a quote by the estimator. Do NOT use them! We hired Pink Rose to come and remodel our second floor for what they said would be a 6 day job. We patiently waited 6 months until they were able to do the job. The first technician that they sent pressured us into paying him early and saying that he would return to finish the work on his own time since the company wanted him to be finished. I called at 8:10am and service tech was here at 9:30! 40 cabinet cabinet handles installed and 2 light fixtures. Done at 2:30 after running to hardware store for proper screws that weren’t provided in what I bought. Above and beyond service!
Everything was just like the radio commercials. A service man came to my house same day that I asked for an estimate for some roofing work. A price was agreed upon and the materials were available and the work was done same day.

This was my first major home repair contract and this company was questionable from the start. I got an estimate for a partial roof repair. I explained exactly what I needed and the man said they could do it and at a reasonable price. Not once did he talk about demolition or cleanup. I accepted the offer and when they arrived the handyman, a different guy than the one who did the estimate, says that they were not supposed to do demo and writes up a demo charge of $750. The customer called us to repair a soffit. He had a cousin that was going to repair the roof, but he could not repair the soffit. The invoice clearly stated that there would be no demolition or water proofing. He told us that the demolition and water proofing would be done by the person doing the roof part. The customer signed that he wanted the work done, and then signed an addendum for our company to complete the demolition since it had not been done before we arrived. We would NOT recommend Pink Rose Handyman. We hired them because we liked the sales guy, who later gave us advise over the phone about how to remodel our bathroom and then mentioned that he was no longer with the company. I had to call the company and question this since they didn't bother to communicate this information to us. The new sales guy wrote up a new contract but there was still a lot of confusion between the 1st and 2nd contract. And the contractor had no idea what was going on. The work I received form this company was sub par. I have photos if you would like to see them. The finish work was horrible. Parts of the walls were not sanded down and painted, calking was not professional, there are gaps all around the tub and walls. I was accused of giving wrong measurements for a vanity, but I was not the one who measured. The tile floor in the linen closet was horrible.
