I am highly upset. There is a $50 non refundable deposit and you lose it if you don’t cancel the within 48 hours of the appointment. No one told me about this rule and it’s not on their website. Also, I wasn’t cancelling the appointment t I was rescheduling it. 1. They should tell you about the cancellation fee up front 2. This is too high $50. It used to be $25. 3. if you are rescheduling the appointment there should be some grace not you lose the deposit. 4. I schedule the appointment within the 48 hours, so I could not ha... read more

Business response:

Hello Felicia! Here is the link to our deposit policy on our website: https://www.pghpremiervetcare.com/online-appointment. In August, we tried to get rid of the deposit policy, but a large percentage of our appointments did not show, so we had to reinstate. At this point we noticed the $25 did not cover to pay the doctor and/or staff when an appointment is cancelled without enough time to rebook. The 48 hour policy was the same when the deposit was $25. I apologize for this inconvenience. This policy is necessary to functi... read more

I took my dog there several times in the past. But recently I took him there to find out he had a serious illness. I called there on Monday 7/21/25 to speak with the vet for information concerning the welfare of my dog cash. The receptionist stated she would give the vet the information. This was about 10 in the morning.. later about two o’clock I called back and a young man answered the phone and said he had no information concerning my call. I called again on Tuesday,Wed,, and Thursday to an answering machine.. My call ... read more

This vet is the poorest excuse of a vet I’ve ever met! Fails to return your calls. We have a 10 year old youkiepoo that is diabetic. The insulin he’s been on is not very effective. We called several times to see if we could try a different insulin but he fails to call back. Our dog is running blood sugars between 300-425 but this vet evidently doesn’t have compassion. We have spent thousands of dollars and I mean thousands but get no results. We paid for blood testing no call with results. He’s more concerned with his lil ma... read more

This Veterinary practice may be nice on the surface but their billing practices are atrocious. Here are examples: 1. They charge a booking fee of 25.00 when making an appointment. Okay you say that May/ may not be reasonable.  2. They charge 67.00 to send stool sample out as compared to 50.00 at a Monroeville Vet.  3. When “prescribing” a medication for my pup with Giardia they gave us an OTC medication.  Okay so you say well maybe that’s the least expensive. Let’s see what you say when I compare the EXACT med on Chewy.com ... read more

First off had to pay a fee of 25$ which did go towards bill, before I even went to the place. Second I took my dog in for a lump underneath on her bellly the vet came in looked at it says within seconds he didn't know what it was, I it tested or removed, I sayd removed, he sayd they would send me a email estimate. So last I get a phone call today from them and they told me they needed another 25$ for a consultation for whomever to tell me how much removal would cost so long story short negative 71$ and still not a clue what m... read more

Just had our beagle there at 1:15 the front office girl went in the back came back out and said their doctor had an emergency leave and they only have walkins till 12 on the website it says they have walkins till 130 on Thursdays . I feel the doctor was in the back office and did not want to see last minute patient. Horrible place.to thumbs down the place sucks no compassion had to take our older dog back up the steps that he struggled to get down to thanks for nothing.

Business response:

Thank you for taking time to leave feedback. We truly apologize we were unable to accommodate your pet on this day. Our doctor had abbreviated hours because he had a personal appointment and had to leave early.

They took good care of my dog after fitting him in last minute. He was vomiting frequently and profusely with no obvious reason. We approved some care after asking the costs to start. We were told the x-ray fee was $200 (to check for obstructions) and that they would call us before any additional care was done to review costs. When they called to review the next steps, they neglected to mention that the x-ray and sending it out for consult had more than doubled the pricing we were quoted. We approved anti-nausea medication a... read more

Business response:

Thank you for taking time to leave a review and providing this feedback. We have just recently partnered with a review board in order to offer our clients radiologist reviews on all of our x-rays. This new service began about a week prior to your visit. We now recognize that additional staff training is needed to better communicate this service and its subsequent cost to our clients. We truly apologize. If you have time to reach out to us, our hospital manager would love the opportunity to work with you to adjust/credit yo... read more
