I was present at my scheduled appointment this morning and had a good chat with Ginny, the dental technician. I related how I'd met with a friend from Calif. who was a dental technician, and how important a good, thorough cleaning and periodontal assessment was. I agreed with her, that although my hygiene was diligent that I needed to come every four months instead of six because of my age and "watchful waiting" with a molar with "deep pockets". Dr. LaTorraca is an absolutely wonderful dentist and is great at what he does! I appreciate that I feel more like a family member than a patient due to his amazing bedside manner. Plus, the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly which calms any nerves one may have about stepping into a dentist office.
