RecommendedEvery veterinarian and every vet tech is so capable/competent, knowledgeable and gentle with my pets (3 dogs and 2 cats) and the rest of the staff is always so helpful, polite and friendly.

Great place to take your pets
I have been very happy with Pleasanton Veterinary hospital and there services. Been going there for the last 6 years.
the kindest people on earth work at pleasanton vet! and dr. cynthia edelman is one of my heroes!! she helped keep my cat in good health until she died at the age of 22 years old. and she wept with me when the time came of put my precious friend/feline to sleep. it’s an extremely efficient office too. i drive 45 minutes to get there because it’s worth it. they are worth it. and so are my animals.
Dr. Engelsgjerd, Suzanne, Beth, and the friendly and helpful vet techs are all wonderful with our 5 cats. PS- We think Dr. E is a “cat whisperer”. 👍😀
My Miss Molly receives love and caring from the administrative staff, vet techs and veterinarians each time we visit. I left one vet hospital in Dublin due to very poor treatment of my beloved, Rosie. I thought I would never own another dog. But just like Rosie, I did adopt my rescue, Molly to become my much needed, second "Emotional Support Therapy" dog. I was very careful and took my time locating Miss Molly's doctor. I recently had to put my pit down to rest after 14 years with her. Dr Michael Engelsgjerd was absolutely AMAZING during the whole process. He sat with my daughter & I from start to finish. He was very comforting to not only us but to our pit as well. He sat on the ground with us & he pet her the whole time. I didn't realize how hard it was going to be but the vet TRULY did an outstanding job with educating us, comforting us & being respectful/sensitive to our needs. Thank you!! Thank you! We have always loved and trusted you with both of our dogs, and our love and trust was confirmed when on July 11 we had to say goodbye to our sweet Biscuit after 14 1/2 years. Every one of your staff made us feel loved and shared in our sadness. As usual, Dr. E was amazing! We were so touched by the card you sent us later that week, and if possible, we are even more touched by the paw print you gave us when I picked up her ashes today.
