About this business

PM Pediatric Care came to life in 2005, when Dr. Jeffrey Schor and Steven Katz — college roommates who went on to pursue careers in medicine and business — wanted to create an alternative to the emergency department and a friendly environment designed exclusively for children and young adults. Since then, PM Pediatric Care has expanded across the country with the mission to improve healthcare access, quality, and service. To date, we have seen over 4 million patients, treating everything from asthma attacks to sports injurie... read more

Came in for a concussion assessment. Was told I had to follow up with a pediatrician. Complete waste of time and added worry.

Parents be warned - there has been a newly implemented mental awareness screening that they are giving children ages 11 and older. They ask the parent/guardian permission to do the screening without advising them the type of screening or questions on the survey. The questions on there are NOT to be asked directly to children (that is provided to the child on a clipboard) and so so extreme that I cannot even mention! I don’t think that the doctor spent enough time with my son. He ended up going to his regular pediatrician and we discovered he had a bronchial infection.

I booked an appointment in advance. The office was not busy at all. Once we were placed in a room and visited by the nurse, we waited 90 minutes in the room for a doctor. When I left the room to see what was going on, every room was empty and the doctors seem to have forgotten about us.

Will not be returning! Doctor/assistant/nurse have no knowledge. I felt dismissed and my concerns were ignored

Child complained of body pain, severe headache and nasal congestion, and sore throat. An inexperienced physician assistant did the strep test which came as negative. She asked us to go home and drink lots of fluids. Later at night, child's symptoms worsened. Taken her to a good ER, instead of PM pediatrics and she was tested with RSV.

Like always she checked him asked if his throat hurts which he answered yes, checked his ears and told me that he was fine. nothi... read more
