Front desk asked if I was on Medicaid. I am a black woman and have a private insurance plan on file. Is this a standard practice asked to all clients? The nurse asked "why did we wait so long to bring my son in?" He was exposed to Covid and literally just started having nausea and vomiting about 3 hours before we brought him in. Front desk staff was amazing. Doctor was dismissive and misdiagnosed my son with a tummy bug when it was found to be strep at a different place 4 days later. Would not recommend.
I have a super fearful toddler whose had too many hospital visits already. The staff was super patient and helpful. They were able to give him some treatments.
