I discovered you can also use the bag to manually to skim the surface because the dense fibers are able to collect very fine particles (although a silt skimmer would probably be much better). Excellent Quality, Fast Shipping I'm buying this bag to replace my old one which is very dirty. That old Polaris bag lasted about a yr or so.This item arrived in 2 days,and was well-packed. The polaris is the one of the greatest inventions for pool owners everywhere.This 280 all purpose bag replaced the previous worn out bag I had.The netting is sufficiently small to catch not only dead debris and leaves but it also picks up quite a bit of sand and particulates at the bottom of my pool. Poor delivery, took over a month Produce is fine, just what I ordered, but I ordered it on 10-27-25 and it wasn't delivered until 12-09-25, over one month later.
Don't waste your money. The throat of this bag is too narrow. Leaves collect in the throat and do not go the main body of the bag.So the throat gets jammed full of leaves early and are not transported to the large belly of the bag, which remainsempty. Bag needs very frequent emptying. Not recommended.
does not look as advertise Plastic sleeve ripped alsmost immeditely Used Polaris because I thought it wuld be better quality
Bag I received this product on May 15 and it already broke on May 22 and the seller will not replace it because “it is not under warranty “.If I owned a company and a product I sold broke in less than 10 days I would replace it whether it was under warranty or not. But that’s just me I guess.I’m very disappointed and will not order from this seller again.
Doesn’t compare to Polaris I was buying Polaris pool bags that cost 49.99 each from my local pool store, when I saw these bags advertised at half the cost and for 2 bags and Polaris compatible I placed the order. PROBLEM - at least with my Polaris system, these bags will click in place, but a disaster trying to unclick to clean the bag out. I’ve bought many things from Amazon with no issue, ButUnfortunately I will not be buying anymore of these bags.
Skip local store - Go Amazon! Needed a new bag for my Polaris 280. Went to the local store (Leslie) and was surprised to see the price had gone up considerably from last year. Took it to the checkout anyway (I needed it). Made a comment to the clerk about how expensive it was. He replied back with a simple smirk... A bit annoyed, I went home, got online and ordered bag via Amazon.
