I've always used the Baracuda G3 side suction cleaner for over 15 years, but was never happy that it rarely went into the shallow end of pool and would get stuck on the stairs area when it did. I bit the bullet after lots of research and bought this. I've only had it for about a month and am very impressed with it! It took me a little bit to get the right amount of suction correct with the 3 valves ( bottom drain, skimmer, and dedicated side port) I don't have a newer pump, so it's a fine balance. Had a fabulous MX8 for 12 years that finally needed replacing. My pool store showed me the Atlas XT as the next gen in technology, so I bough it. I can't believe how clean my pool is now, especially at night when there are no ripples to obstruct the view. It works flawlessly. Very happy with the purchase.

Polaris is doing everything as expected. Only difficulty was counting the revolutions. A different color for the arrow would help. Atlas covers the complete pool from the deep to the shallow and sides. I was cautioned to not leave the cleaner in the pool for excessive time, like overnight, for this could cause damage to the cleaner parts by the pool chemicals. Is this the Polaris recommendation?

First time I’ve used automatic cleaner has stopped a few times but I gave it a little help by cleaning then it went right back to normal

Typically, this helps with any issue.
