Love the Polaris so far! Love how it climbs up the wall and how it doesn't get stuck on the steps! It works better than the Burracuda mat that I had before I got the Polaris!
I've always used the Baracuda G3 side suction cleaner for over 15 years, but was never happy that it rarely went into the shallow end of pool and would get stuck on the stairs area when it did. I bit the bullet after lots of research and bought this. I've only had it for about a month and am very impressed with it! It took me a little bit to get the right amount of suction correct with the 3 valves ( bottom drain, skimmer, and dedicated side port) I don't have a newer pump, so it's a fine balance. I can't believe how clean my pool is now, especially at night when there are no ripples to obstruct the view. It works flawlessly. Very happy with the purchase.
