Unreliable. Works intermittently only. Unreliable. Placed within 7 feet of my video doorbell and 8 feet of garage door opener, one closer to router and one farther both of which work perfectly. Look for something else. I thought it would be a good idea to buy this product. After 1 month, I started noticing the disadvantages:1. To begin with, the battery has to be charged by removing it from the device. It still uses a microUSB connection, the battery takes a long time to charge, and what’s worse, it doesn’t even last 1 month under moderate use.2. Worthless Worthless. Does not work at all. Would not “learn” my garage door remote code. Tried multiple times. Fancy app, bad device. Get something else.
More trouble than it is worth This keypad has been the bane of my existence recently. I've had it for a year, Chamberlain just sent me a new one because the original one stopped connecting to the app and constantly reset. It took hours and 20+ tries to finally connect to WiFi. It is extremely finicky when it comes to WiFi. It can only work with 2.4GHz... even though it will connect to 5GHz, it won't work, so you have to generate a separate network that is 2.4GHz only. Very poor customer service. Doesn’t work. Terrible customer support. I installed this and the camera works, but it will not open or close the garage door by the keypad or by the app. So it’s useless. I called their customer support number four times and got stuck on hold over 20 minutes each time. I’m a pretty smart tech guy so I don’t think I’m causing the problem. Very poor customer service.
No installation instructions included. No instructions included on how to install and pair with opener. QR barcode was there, but phone locked every time I tried to zoom to read. Item is useless without installation instructions.
This product is trash. This product is garbage. The battery life rarely lasts more than 2 weeks and utilizes an archaic USB to micro-USB charging port that takes several hours to achieve a full charge. Despite being less than 20’ from the WiFi router/hub with an extremely reliable fiber connection it looses connectivity to the camera more days than it doesn’t.
