This is my third robotic pool cleaner in 12 years. The other two (different brand) lasted 2-3 years each. We decided to go with Polaris this time. Pros: filter is on top and very easy to remove and clean; machine has a "lift" feature that brings it to the top of the pool to remove it; when it is lifted from pool, it empties CLEAN water from the machine back into the pool, making it lighter to pull out; cord is great at not getting tangled; vacuums large items (leaves, etc) well and climbs the sides of the pool easily; ru... read more

Great pool cleaner. Set it and forget it.
This Polaris 965 is very good, especially compared to the Polaris 380 it replaced. There are 2 areas in which it could do better. First, it does not cover the entire rectangle for some reason. It tends not to go around the bottom drains in the deep end. It may be that I don’t know how to calibrate it properly. The other issue is that I can’t use it to clean the 10’x10’ tanning ledge that is part of my pool. I’m not sure the machine design is intended for something like a tanning ledge. Overall, I’d rate it a 4.3/5.0
The pool cleaner works fantastic. The internet connection never fails as well.
