Great price for a genuine Polaris. This was a replacement for a burned out motor, great price. I saw tutorials that show you how to replace the motor alone which is a bit cheaper but at this price it was still several hundred dollar less that what my pool guy wanted to charge me and just a bit more than the motor by itself so decided to go with the full replacement. Easily installed and works fine.
Quiet pump, new easy-to-install quick connect fittings Pump is running great, and came with the newer-style quick connect fittings which made it very easy to install. It is much more quiet than the original Polaris pump that it replaced. The pool store wanted $525 for the pump plus installation, so I saved about $275.
Polaris did it right An exact replacement for my old Polaris that finally gave up the ghost. Used the original connectors with some new thread tape and had it up and running in about 15 minutes. Runs quieter as advertised, especially so compared to the old pump which had a bearing going bad. It came factory wired for 220 and that is what my system was already wired for, which saves money and is overall the best option. Better than the competion Tried another brand of pool cleaner and was very disappointed in its performance so I returned it and went back to my Polaris. This Zodiac PB4-60 Polaris Booster Pump with 60-Hertz Motor was easy to install. Had it running in less than 30 minutes. I will stay with the Polaris system. It is well worth the money.
