This is a revision/appendum to my original review. I was contacted by Henoc, from Polaris customer service. He offered me a service code that could be used to cover parts and labor costs in the event that my Quattro cleaner ever needs repair outside of the warranty period. I think this is a very nice gesture. Hopefully, my cleaner had a manufacturing defect, and will not need any further repairs. But it's good to know that I am covered in the event that it does.

The Quattro is an EXCELLENT pool cleaner. Could not have asked for better. Only one problem and I am not sure it is a problem yet. It climbs the walls and scrubs the tiles really well but it also will kind of get stuck when it goes straight up the wall and will grind away at the top against the coping until the timer goes to the 360 stage and it swings around. The Quattro Sport is doing an excellent job cleaning the pool! 5 Stars as to performance! My only concern is that the black hose and body are beginning to show signs of bleaching after only 3 months in the pool. If I was buying the unit again I would have purchased a white unit. My 280 (blue) was 6 yrs old and it and the hose looked almost new when I replaced it with the Quattro. We check our pool chemicals at our pool supply store weekly (at least) and never let the water chemistry get out of hand. Thanks

Plus: There is no backup valve The feed line has yet to get tangled up Cleans very good Easy to clean Easy to handle Cons: Pine needles will clog up the front rollers
Love the feature that it cleans the side walls too!
