Keeps the spray off the windows. Prevents the tail from sweeping. You just need to decide what is more important to you. Our windows are dry, but there's pockets of debris in the pool.

Excellent Product! This attachment works very well with the cleaner. It stops the tail from spraying water all over the place. The vents on the attachment have to be cleaned periodically for the attachment to function efficiently but that's an easy job. Works as advertised. Very happy with this purchase.
