Keeps more of the water in the pool the small grooves sometimes get clogged and has to be removed for cleaning. It does keep more water in the pool and isn't spraying the glass doors and windows. I think the amount of water saved will pay for the item.

Wears out in 4-5 months. This works as described and prevents water from spraying out into the air. The annoying thing is that this is a wear part. It lasts for about 4 months before the plastic "feet" flex or wear out and then no longer stay connected to the hose. You can solve this by simply place a zip tie around the feet. Hope this helps.
No more squirting water from my Polaris sweeper This device has worked great. Just wish I had bought and installed when I first got my pool. Without this device my Polaris cleaner was constantly squirting water out of the pool and lots of time it was a dirt hit on my windows. Since installing this device the Polaris has not squirted water out of the pool one time. This product is a winner in my book.
polaris tail sweep pro pool cleaner accessory this works great in our pool. so happy we called polaris and told them the problem we had with the spray of water hitting our french door windows looking out at the pool. what a difference this makes. wish we would have only found this sooner. very glad we purchased this.

Better than the old style! I have an older Polaris 360. It's given me years of reliable service, but the "tail" would pop out of the water at any given time, and if you were unlucky enough to be in it's sights, you were in for a good soaking! Once in a while the Polaris would get temporarily stuck on a stair in the pool, and shoot a powerful stream of water for about 25 feet, and it could stay in that position for 30 seconds or more!
