Arrived safely and easier then picking it up at the ... Arrived safely and easier then picking it up at the store. The tube where it attaches to the main body came off frequently at first but now stays in place. The zipper design doesn't work as well as the older Velcro design did. But overall the polaris makes cleaning the pool easier.

Polaris strong This is the 2nd one I've purchased from Amazon. The best price around. And the product works great. You know when it's doing its job just by looking at the bag fill up. Easy to empty. I use mine 6/7/52, live in Florida. Like any of these devices, they will wear with constant use. There are replacement parts. Chlorine in the water will degrade rubber parts.

What took me so long? The new technology increases the effectiveness of the thoroughness of the cleaning operation and reducing the "run time" of my old Polaris. I should have made a change years ago instead of having the former repaired several times. Delivery and packing were also excellent.

Polaris 280 is FANTASTIC! Came in as advertised and working perfectly! This is my second Polaris 280 after 10yrs of maintenance free service from my first one. FANTASTIC!

Better than the 380? Replaced my 10 year old Polaris 380 with this model on a recommendation from our pool service. Works just as well as the 380, but is a simpler design.

This Polaris 280 sweep is FANTASTIC! At least This Polaris 280 sweep is FANTASTIC! At least, so far. Moved into my home in 1978. It had an existing very large, approx. 20 X 40 modified kidney shaped plaster pool which was built in 1970. It has a very large shallow end which runs to an 8' depth near the diving board at the far end. We figure it holds somewhere between 34-36k gallons.
