I am very anxious about dental work. I've had numerous horrible (not just bad) experiences over the years. This is the very first time those fears were calmed. I had an old broken filling and Dr. Liz had to grind it out and replace it. Then put a crown on. I did take my 5 mg diazepam before and it did help. The worse part about the whole procedure was the shots ... only 2. Once I got through that, I was okey dokey fine. I could feel the grinding ... hear the grinding, BUT I never felt pain! Yea! My experience with the dental hygienist was not as good as usual. She was either not as gentle as past hygienists or she dug in deeper but it sure hurt more than usual.
