Read the reviews. The manager is courteous but is unable to do anything. Their installation department is incapable of installing pools correctly. The person who runs the installation department is arrogant, cocky and unprofessional! He has no business being in management. They don't stand behind their product and installation. They promise the world and deliver you a world of hell when trying to get what was promised to you done. Save yourself the time and aggravation. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
Pool city west mifflin In February I put a down pavement on a pool that i was told was in stock and could be installed by mid June. At that time I was told the installer would contact me in a week to come measure and make sure the plan would work in my yard. Three weeks go by. I called over a dozen times trying to get a hold of installer. After a month he comes and measures and confirms everything is good and can get it done early June. Unless this is your dream pool, buyer beware. Our pool was supposed to be installed end of June. Pool pieces got dropped off last weekend in June (dumped in our yard). They came to dig it a month after boxes got dropped off and now we are waiting for the installation. They say they can’t install it with all the water in the hole they dug, but won’t pay to rectify that. The install was supposed to happen the day after the hole was dug but was not. I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased our pool. I would have went somewhere else. Lessons learned. We purchased our pool on 6/13/2022. It was delivered on 7/1/2022, and there it sits on a pallet half in my neighbors yard on a slant which looks like its about to fall over. No one gets back to you, you get brushed off, and now who knows when this pool will be installed, no one calls you back or gives a crap, they got your money. So disappointed. While the customer service was great at pool city we were promised our pool installed that we bought on May 8th by mid June or latest end of June. It was delivered on June 13th however the installers have yet to schedule it to be installed as of July 7th even after calling numerous times. I now have a $10k pool just sitting in my yard in boxes. After originally going to this store with the intention of buying a pool in 2021, we were complete ignored by the salespeople. Twice. Because of that, we did not purchase a pool in 2021. That should have been our first clue to how awful the process would be. This place is a joke. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. They’re horrible, awful and ridiculous people who have no business being in business. Their unreliable subcontractors are horrendous and have no accountability for what they do or do wrong. They don’t back up their products nor their work. It amazes me this place is still in business. They are the lowest of the low.
It's been several decades simce i felt so unwanted as a customer. They insisted my wife buy parts that didn't fit our pool. attempted to return them. A manager looking guy scowled at me as he told me that i need to make a third round trip to the store with my wifes credit card (note that the sale was less than an hour old). He treated me like a bald-headed orphan.
