Our 14 year old furnace went kaput when it was the coldest week of the year in January. I called Poores and they had someone out very quickly. Unfortunately, the motor was a part made in China and...COVID...so they said they would get it on order. Following a week of sweaters and the ignominious gas logs, they came back exactly when they thought it would come in and repaired it. The service men arrived early and wasted no time getting the job done in totally replacing a 50gal gas water heater in our garage. Job was done in half the time I expected and the work area was left in the same clean condition they found it. They went over the thermostat settings with me and made sure the water was again flowing to the taps. They have always been very responsive and have been a great company to work with for my needs. I've used Poore's Propane for both propane delivery and for service for my AC/Heat pump and gas fireplace at my home in Lewes, DE for close to 10 years. Their customer service representatives are courteous, their service is prompt and reasonably priced, and I feel very confident with their service tech, Jim Smith. Anytime I've had any problems, he always seems able to identify and fix any issues quickly and efficiently.

I called Poores because I was smelling gas at my house they were quick to send a service tech to my house. When he arrived he was quick to determine the issue and resolve it. I am new to propane so after he was done he gave me some gas safety tips and how to turn my tank off if I had any other problems.
