Found this place last minute back in Aug. came in had great meal and was excited to return. Stopped in Sat. night and this was absolutely THE WORST KEY WEST(Marathon) EXPERIENCE!! Waiter was undertrained-couldn’t hear a word he said, never came back to offer refills. After receiving food (which was Jamaican Jerk) 40 minutes in with mouth on fire had to get my own drinks. Service was extremely slow and ribs were cold. Not sure I will go back.
Porkys has a fun environment but the food is tasteless. It’s over priced. I ordered the fish tacos and the cook Forgot to put the slaw and dressing on top. Terrible experience. I won’t go back.
Food was bland at best. Did not care for the barbq pulled pork. Husband had a Cuban which was not too good. Coleslaw was terrible. Won’t b back
We were excited about breakfast (and bottomless mimosas!). The service was good, food was average at best and bottomless mimosas were a bust. Hope it gets better.
The service was awful and we waited 1.5hr to eat. Then when the grouper finger appetizer showed up it looked amazing. First bite and spit it out it was completely raw inside. They took it back and put it back in the grease lol. Main entree was great for one and cold for the other. We had 4 adults and one child. When we were billed it was 169.00 and they had already added a 18% tip and that was completely not earned. Left feeling ripped off for worst service I’d had in a long long time.
Unless you want to wait an hour or so for a less than average, way overpriced meal… and as a bonus… deal with an obnoxious waitress and an indifferent manager, I suggest you find somewhere else to eat. Really anywhere else would be a better choice, worst experience I’ve had in the keys.
Bad experience all around; waited forever even though half the tables were open due to “the kitchen being slammed”, yet the hostess seated other guest arriving after us. Once seated we were never was acknowledged by our server, both parties after us had servers take their drinks orders, etc. we ended up leaving…….
RecommendedGreat Food. Too many flies around to enjoy my food.
