Celebrating being “empty nesters” and attending a concert (Squeeze) that evening . Our waiter, Josh , took very good care of us and helped make the night special.

we had a wonderful dinner at portico sunday. we were seated at a table right away, our server josh was very knowedgeble about the menu and answered all the questions we had without skipping a beat. we started with the tomato and burrata appetizer with a fabulous tomato jam; i had the 16oz ribeye [which we think was really 22oz! it was huge] and my wife had the stuffed chicken. we loved the polenta that was served with the chicken...so creamy and topped with a lemon sauce wow. we also shared an order of brussel sprouts, but t... read more

Our server was excellent. She was very knowledgeable, especially about the wine we ordered. One of the hostesses was not so nice and had a bit of an attitude. We tried to be understanding and nice back because it was our first time there but she still didn't change her demeanor. My Waygu beef meatball dinner was very disappointing. The sauce had minimum seasoning and the meatball tasted like grandma's bland meatloaf you had to add ketchup to just taste good. I definitely expected better. Excellent food and service. We had dinner prior to the Squeeze concert, and it was funny when the server stated that they were out of Mussels. The meal was timely and nicely prepared. We were greeted as we entered the establishment by the manager and others, and all were very pleasant. I was pleasantly surprised with everything about del Lago.

The food was excellent 2 of us had filet very tender, 2 had bolognese the wedge salads best we ever had. We come from Buffalo NY worth the drive can't wait till our next visit.

Second time eating at Portico. Service was much better this time. Food was still just fair. Filet mignon was ordered medium well, served medium at best and had little flavor. Butter served with the lobster tail was cool, not warm. For the price, I expect a better quality of food.
