The food at Portico is great. Our server, Amber, was absolutely fantastic and so friendly. Our only criticism was with the hostess asking us to step back outside and wait LITERALLY 4 minutes until our reservation time. We arrived at hostess desk at 5:26 and was told we had to wait until our reservation time at 5:30. Sure, ok. Also, we were told that the menu was smaller because it was 'a show night'. Our server Kellye was amazing and Robert the manager was hilarious and entertaining. All good was excellent. The only downside was the younger hostess immediately mentioned that we could not be seated as we were early for our reservation (we didn’t ask to be seated early). She cut me off while I was trying to explain that we had arrived early. With the exception of that, overall excellent dining experience.

The special Valentine's Day dinner food was outstanding!!! The waitstaff (specific server, Tara, I think was her name) needs help, big time. After ordering wine, the cocktail menu was left on table TILL WE WERE LEAVING. Our salad plates were the only plates removed once we had finished eating (and if I remember correctly, another waitstaff removed those). Food was prepared to specifications and was of high quality. The service on a special Valentine's Day was wonderful despite it being a holiday. It was not very noisy and was an enjoyable romantic evening.

We went to portico for Valentine’s Day. It was a wonderful atmosphere. Our server was very pleasant and helpful and was very attentive. The meal was prepared to perfection and was very tasty. It was a little on the expensive side but was well worth it for a special occasion
