We enjoyed the wonderful service and our server chose our delightful wine choices. The special was a NY Strip and was delicious albeit a little fatty but there was plenty to fill us up. We'll definitely be back.
Calamari was hot and delicious with the lemon aioli My husband’s pork chop was tough though we were in a rush so he didn’t complain. My salmon was the best salmon I have ever eaten. Loved the corn succotash. The mashed potato was very bland. Spruced it up with butter salt and pepper. Service was efficient but not overly warm and welcoming. Loved the atmosphere. Wine list was extremely short-four reds two of them merlot. Overall B experience.
Portico is a wonderful choice for relaxed yet fine dining. We stayed at del Lago so it was so convenient to have an upscale restaurant right there to celebrate a birthday. My guest ordered a 5oz filet mignon & a side called loaded potato casserole. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly to her liking and commented how it melted in her mouth. The sauce for the Fruit de Mer was not as expected, and the dinner was not hot when served. The Chicken Thigh Marsala was also not hot when served. One piece of meat was too tough to even eat, and the other piece did not taste at all like thigh meat. Very disappointing. Our two friends both enjoyed the Pork Chop dinner, which we now wish we had ordered. Service at the bar was very friendly.
Everything is great except the noise (Music) level. Hard to have a quiet conversation.
Excellent restaurant that hits the mark in all areas; service, food, atmosphere. Excellent dining experience!
Please bring back the short ribs! put them on the regular menu.
We arrived promptly for our reservation and were seated as soon as the hostess returned to the stand, (around 5 minutes) but sat unattended at our table for around 10-15 minutes. (No water, no "I'll be right with you", etc). (While our server was very kind & professional, the long waits and extended absences would be the trend throughout our visit--Not sure if she was tending to another section or large party--but she would disappear for 20 minutes at a time not to be seen at all in-between courses etc, meanwhile the servers... read more
Everything about this restaurant was perfect. The atmosphere, the food and the service were all amazing! I would highly recommend.
