This is not a psychiatrist that cares to learn anything about her patients. She will make decisions based on very little. Lacking significant therapeutic skills.
Not a good experience at all. The only two times I went for an appointment with her they lasted 10 minutes even though they are supposed to be 30 minutes each time. I kept trying to ask questions but was continuously cut off. She then suggested that I should consider seeing a different psychyatrist at the clinic? I just wanted help getting better but it seemed like she didn't want to deal with the issues I was having.
Though it was easy to get an appointment here, I soon found out why. If all you need is someone to scribble a prescription and send you on your way, Dr. Mathur will be a great fit for you. If you are suffering from a serious psychiatric issue and are seeking professional guidance, please look elsewhere. Your health is not worth risking.
Dr. Mathur is often late, rushes you in, rushes you out - is clearly doing the bare minimum to treat her patients. She often seems disinterested, and annoyed when you ask her questions. I leave feeling more anxious and unhappy than when i come in.
Rude, unwilling to help, she even dumped me as a patient.
