I'm not a finance person and definitely suck at my own personal finances. Would have appreciated when I asked for a breakdown of the costs and how much to bring to the closing...a breakdown of each and every cost written out like I was a 2 year old. I understand when you do things so long you lose the sight that everyone should know what you're saying, but definitely did not fully understand. Better communication. Felt like I was the one always calling and trying to figure out what the next steps were. This is my 3rd house purchase, the previous purchases I constantly heard from loan officer and staff to update on the status and next steps.
