There seemed to be a disconnect throughout experience with underwriter. some recommendations were changed drastically within a week. We were in fear throughout the process that our loan would not be approved and spoken to on multiple occasions as if we had been lying about financial information. We are thrilled to be finished with the application process and have signed for our home. We will ALWAYS go to our credit unions first and regret not doing so this time!

The communications were not timely and were unclear - using stock language that's really long and convoluted in emails is not helping. It's hard to know what is missing in the portal and it's unclear who I'm working with throughout the process. The little videos aren't helpful and the whole experience felt generic. Our process took much longer than it should have due to long and unreadable emails where something was needed and I didn't see it. This all seemed WAY harder than it had to be.

Overall a good experience. I very much enjoy working with Chad. However, I believe his loan processing team could use some work as they made numerous requests for information and supporting documentation that was either unnecessary or downright inappropriate.

More communication during the process and a higher level of transparency. We did not appreciate that the closing disclosures changed and we were the ones that had to determine the details of the modifications. Also the communication from the loan assistant was poor
