Everything was fine until one week before settlement. Then everything went to hell. First off, communication became non existent. Settlement people even complained how for days there were no responses to calls and emails. Last minute requests for items that should have been requested and or looked into days and if not weeks prior that were their responsibility to look in to. Too many people from mortgage company involved. Should have only been one point of contact.

I have used another broker in the past which I am familiar with. This group seemed to lack communication with which I am more familiar with

During closing there was too much back and forth, things were not explained clearly and I had to submit the same documentation multiple times which wasted a lot of time. My original loan officer took another job in the middle of my closing and once Devon came on board communication became challenging. My BIGGEST concern is that I had access to several available grant programs and despite qualifying, the math was not done properly and I ended up leaving thousands of dollars on the table.
