There was never a mention that I was paying for points. I paid over $7000 for an interest point and was not told about that. I guess part of it is my fault for not asking about that. When the discussion is all about I will most likely refinancing soon to get a better loan. Paying 7k for points does not seem in my best interest. Should have been a discussion about this.
