I want to report this company for price gouging on their rental fees. They are continuously going up every other month for no reason at all. There are no extra amenities or anything different at the storage facility but yet they stay going up on the pricing and it is not fair or right for the consumers to have to continue to deal with the price increases every few months. They need to be stopped.
I have been renting 2 storage units at ******************************* for more than 4 years now with ***************** Policy with State Farm. In spite of this, they want to charge for their own Protection Plan of $17 per month per unit. I have been communicating with them and my local State Farm agent has been sending them Proof of Insurance to no avail. Is there a department with the State to file a complaint for this matter? Or should I file a claim against them in court?
I would rate ig lower if possible. I have had a unit at the ********************************* 2 maybe 3 months and they have, without notice, raised the rent almost $20 a month!!!What a c*** *********** NOT RENT FROM PRIME STORAGE. THEY WILL S**** YOU EVERY CHANCE THEY CSN WITHOUT NOTICE!!!
Signed up on Saturday night, called by lunch Sunday saying I didnt need it. Corporate call center was nice and said no worry, this is eligible for cancellation and refund. Its been 6 days and no response, no cancellation, no refund (I was told 3 days). They do not answer their phone, they dont check emails or voicemails. I want my cancellation and full refund..
Be aware that Prime Storage is a business that will sell you on a competitive rate to get you in then they send you notices after about two or three months that they are having to raise rates (10-20%) to keep up with trends in the area. This will happen several times per year. Do the math. They give you the option to opt-out of your agreement but they know the burden of moving your stuff to another unit is worse than paying the increase.
