Excellent Dentist. I drive from Queens to see him.
Outstanding in all categories. I've been a patient for over 20yrs. Dr Proto's expertise is only matched by his warm and pleasant demeanor. Painless dentistry and friendly staff. He recently performed a flawless frontal tooth implant that I could not be more pleased with. Absolutely the best in his field.

There is no other dentist that even comes close to Dr. Proto. He is gentle but thorough, compassionate (and I am somewhat phobic because of difficult experiences with dentists as a child), and patient. The office is spotless and the staff are friendly. His crowns are a work of art. He's well worth the trip from Port Jeff to Babylon!
My family and I have been going to Dr. Proto for many years. He is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. His staff is excellent and always courteous. We moved homes approximately 10 years ago, about a half hour away, from his office but wouldn't even consider another dentist.!

As a long term patient, over the years I have recommended family and friends to Dr. Proto, without hesitation, not only because he is an excellent dentist, up on the very latest techniques and skills, but also because of his engaging personality and remarkable ability to make one feel at ease. Not surprisingly, one cannot help but be impressed with how he runs a very efficient operation with a superior staff that reflects his expertise, professionalism and genuine care for his patients!
My family and I don't hesitate to travel from Roslyn to see Dr. Proto for our dental care. The whole staff is excellent, caring, and skilled. Can't recommend highly enough.
I was always afraid of going to the dentist but at Dr Protos office they made me feel very comfortable were now I look forward to going back to the dentist!
