Best spot in Indy right now. My wife and I roam the region spending hundreds of dollars at one awesome restaurant per month. This one was by far the best in a long time. Reminded us of our first time at Vida, which makes sense cause it’s that same chef, which also explains why Vida is no longer as mind blowing (still top 5 restaurant in Indy though). The tasting menu made me feel like a Viking King, and the short rib was the best I have ever had anywhere in the world. Redefined what a short rib can be.
I eat at a number of higher-end restaurant throughout the U.S. and would give Provisions a "C" or "C-." The food was fine tasting . . . the portions were too small if you are a man, at an above average price. So, upon leaving the restaurant I was still hungry (which almost never happens). Wine by the glass prices were high for "small pours" of wine. Long story short, I'd skip this place. Go to nearby Italian restaurant Sangiovese (within a half block away) which has very good food at a more reasonable price-point.
Excellent fine dining restaurant, but it is an open space, so not very intimate, which was perfect for us. The wagyu steaks are pricey, but oh so worth it on a special occasion. Service and food impeccable.
AWESOME restaurant! Loved the decor, and the food was incredible. Great for foodies. Even the desserts were amazing. Can't wait to go back!
Terrific service, best ever, and the cowboy ribeye was perfect. Great energy and always attentive management too. Very pleased with our experience on this important family evening out.
