untouchable at this price-point. For the price, there isn't another later I believe that comes close to this particular unit's functionality. While there are other lable-makers that are certainly more feature-rich, most of these are considerably more expensive unless you have specific requirements like multi line labels, or multiple width labels, this unit will get the job done at a price that won't break the bank.
Eats batteries, even when turned off. I had to add what I see a lot of other people have mentioned about this labeler. It eats batteries like nobodies business. I've had other Brother labelers and none of them ate batteries like this. I don't use mine all that often, and I keep it in the trunk of my car to use at my client's sites (I'm a computer network consultant) and I used to be able to leave my old labeler in the trunk, turned off, and it would always be ready to go. no adapter wish I'd sprung for the pc-connecting version... at least those come with power adapters :(
Great Labeler I am pleased with the performane of this labeler although I find the instructions hard to figure out at times. Someone with more technical savvy than I probably wouldn't be as easily confused by them. When I can figure them out, this is a wonderful labeler.
